Scott Patten

Scott is a programmer, web developer and erstwhile physicist based in Vancouver. He fell in love with Ruby and Rails while creating Plot-O-Matic, a scientific graphing web application.

Scott is the owner and sole proprietor of spatten design, where he provides free-lance web development and Ruby on Rails training services.

Scott blogs about Ruby on Rails, Amazon Web Services, Capistrano and AJAX at the spatten design blog. He also wants to assure you that the similarities between the Rails Advance and spatten design sites are purely coincidental.
